At Dive West Side Scuba, we offer a range of PADI scuba certification courses to suit all levels of divers in Barbados. Our courses (excluding specialties) are all done private or semi-private so you won’t be in big groups with people you don’t know and you can enjoy a personalized experience. If you have never gone diving before we suggest signing up for a Discover Scuba Dive before signing up for the Open Water Course, it counts as the first part and we will take the price off if you decide to continue.
Open Water Diver – $380
Want to explore the sea? Sign up for Padi’s e-learning and join us for the Open Water Diver course, the first of the scuba certification courses. Learn the skills you need to dive safely and confidently in a relaxed and supported learning environment. With 4 open water dives and hands-on training, you’ll be diving up to 60 feet depth in no time. Ages 10+

Includes : 5 Confined Water Dives, 4 Open Water Dives
Advanced Open Water Diver – $450
Ready to take your diving to new depths? Our Advanced Open Water course is the perfect way to advance your skills and explore new dive sites. With five adventure dives, including deep and navigation dives, you’ll gain the confidence and expertise to take on any underwater challenge. After the course you will be able to explore depths up to 100ft. Ages 12+
Time Commitment: 2-3 days
Includes: 5 Open Water Dives
Diver Specialties – $200 – $400
Expand your diving knowledge with PADI specialty courses. Our courses will teach you about specific diving topics. We offer certifications in deep diving, fish identification, wreck diving, peak performance buoyancy, boat diving, drift diving, lionfish hunting, nitrox, underwater navigation, night diving, and search and recovery. Ages 10+ – 18+
Time commitments: 1-2 days
Includes: 2-4 dives
Emergency First Responder CPR and First Aid – $150
This training is essential for everyone, whether you’re a diver or not. Gain the knowledge and skills to handle emergency situations effectively. Acquire fundamental first aid techniques and the correct procedures for administering CPR to both adults and children. Successful completion is a prerequisite for the Rescue Diver course. No age requirement.

Rescue Diver – $510
What could be more important than keeping yourself and your fellow divers safe? Become a skilled and confident diver with our rescue course. You’ll learn how to assist other divers, respond to emergencies, and even perform self-rescue techniques. Ages 12+

Includes: Confined and Open Water Scenario Training
Master Scuba Diver
Join the elite few who have achieved the highest level of recreational diving. To get there, you’ll need to complete five PADI specialties of your choice after finishing the rescue course and logging at least 50 dives. With our expert training and guidance, you can make it happen. Ages 12+

Dive Master – $2035
