And here’s the best part: most of our reefs have mooring buoys, and we don’t drop anchor so you can dive with peace of mind knowing that we’re an eco-friendly facility.

Our experienced dive instructors, dive masters, and boat captain will guide you through the beautiful underwater world of Barbados. We take safety seriously, so you can relax and enjoy the experience. All dive leaders carry a surface marker buoy so the boat knows where we are at all times.

Carlisle Bay

This dive site is truly one-of-a-kind, offering a total of six wrecks set within tranquil, crystal-clear waters. Carlisle Bay stands as a protected sanctuary, making it an ideal location for both snorkelers and divers. Easily accessible via the beach or boat, this site welcomes individuals ranging from novices to seasoned divers.

With the oldest ship dating back to World War I, Carlisle Bay is steeped in history, featuring a captivating blend of intentionally sunk and naturally occurring wrecks. It is a regular afternoon destination for our Discover Scuba Diving and One-Tank Dive excursions, often serving as a preferred spot for our Two-Tank divers, particularly when conditions elsewhere are less favorable.

Notably, this Carlisle Bay offers the highest likelihood of encountering turtles and rays, along with a diverse array of fish species. Our explorations have frequently led to sightings of sea horses, flying gurnards, and batfish, ensuring a rich and memorable underwater adventure. Learn more.

Trident Wreck

Located in close proximity to Carlisle Bay, this deeper wreck boasts a distinctive feature. Double-barreled 60mm guns are located on the bow, providing an excellent opportunity for striking photographs. The Trident, once the flagship of the Barbados coast guard, was intentionally sunk in April 2013. For those with expertise in wreck diving, this site offers easy penetration.

Following your exploration of this fascinating wreck, you can venture into Carlisle Bay itself. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to visit additional wrecks, some of which are accessible for entry, or swim amidst the vibrant coral formations. Along the way, you may encounter the same marine life as mentioned in Carlisle Bay, with an elevated chance of spotting large tarpons, snappers, and barracuda, adding an exciting dimension to your underwater experience.

South Coast Inner Fringe Reefs

This expansive reef system extends along the majority of the South Coast, offering numerous distinct diving locations. Classified as an inner fringe reef, it features a gradual slope with the shallower side facing the land and the deeper side extending seaward.

When the waters are tranquil, these sites provide an excellent opportunity for beginners, while during rougher sea conditions, they become more suitable for intermediate divers. Typically, these reefs offer a gentle drift experience, although occasional stronger currents may be encountered. The underwater landscape is adorned with a plethora of exquisite corals, and it’s common to encounter an array of marine life, including turtles, rays, moray eels, and lionfish.
